Calculation of two-neutrino double beta decay half-lives of Ge-76, Se-82, Zr-96 and Mo-100 nuclei for the 0(+) -> 0(+) transition

We calculated the half-lives of two-neutrino double beta decay (2 nu beta beta) of Ge-76, Se-82, Zr-96 and Mo-100 nuclei for the 0(+) bar right arrow 0(+) transition. Quasiparticle random phase approximation (QRPA) was used by considering the charge-exchange spin-spin interactions among the nucleons by considering both particle-hole (p-h) and particle-particle (p-p) channels in the separable form. Calculations were performed for the spherical form of the nuclei.

Strength functions for transfer of a neutron-proton pair on Se-82, Mo-96, Cd-116 and Te-128 nuclei

This study presents the calculation of strength functions for neutron-proton pair transfer on Se-82, Mo-96, Cd-116 and Te-128 even-even nuclei. We study 1(+) states, which are a part of the Gamow-Teller (GT) giant resonances in neighboring odd-odd nuclei, excited via the neutron-proton pair transfer on even-even parent nuclei. The main result of this work is to find these states using strength functions. Calculations have been made only in the particle-particle channel of charge-exchange spin-spin forces via the random phase approximation (RPA).

CP-violating WW gamma couplings in e gamma collision with polarized beams

We investigate the constraints on CP-violating triple WW gamma gauge boson couplings through the process e gamma -> W nu(e). Considering the longitudinal and transverse polarization states of the final W and incoming polarized beams, we find 95% confidence level limits on CP odd anomalous coupling parameters (lambda) over tilde and (kappa) over tilde with an integrated luminosity of 500 fb(-1) and root s = 0.5, 1 and 1.5 TeV energies. It is shown that the initial and final state polarizations improve the sensitivity limits of (lambda) over tilde by a factor of 1.3-1.6 and of (kappa) over tilde by a factor of 5.2-9.
