In this stuidy, the position information from ultrasound sensors on UAV related to floor gallery mine passed through the filter, it is aimed to control the position of simultaneously creating the optimum environmental map. The simultaneous in galleries made mapping, mine the data of air to the designated central monitoring system with real-time location information is transmitted to the ventilation system, which is intended to more effectively work in the mines. The gallery maps which simultaneous location and mapping information obtained by UAV Extended Kalman Filter algorithms processed were obtained experimentally. © 2016 IEEE.

In this paper, two different methods are suggested in order to provide image enhancement in ultrasonic B-mode imaging. By obtaining RF data from two different phantom used to form B-mode image, their spectral characteristics were observed. Then by forming RF envelope from obtained data, conversion of envelope to color image is provided. Logarithmic compression and histogram equalization methods found in literature are used to improve image quality. From the results obtained, it is observed that both algorithms are effective based on the intended use when they are applied individually. © 2016 IEEE.

The spatially limited plane (SLP) wave can be created by exciting the ring transducer elements with different amplitudes and at different times. Although the ring transducer initially worked well, many transducer elements have become inoperative, due probably to service life and material life. The result of these bad elements is artifacts in the resulting spatially limited plane waves. In this study, the effects of bad elements of ring transducer system (RTS) which is used to obtain high quality images by using inverse scattering techniques in formation of the SLP wave are investigated. Also, the weighting of operative elements is e . . .xamined in order to compensate the bad ones. Results show that loses in the generated SLP wave can be compensated with correcting the artifacts of bad elements by using elements adjacent to the inoperative ones. © 2016 IEEE Daha fazlası Daha az

In this paper, the effects of autapse (a kind of synapse formed between the axon or soma of a neuron and its own dendrites) on the firing regularity and the firing rate in single Hodgkin-Huxley neuron are investigated. We consider that Hodgkin-Huxley neuron has two autapses. It is supposed that one of them is electrical synapse and the other is chemical synapse. Obtained results indicate that autapse with proper parameter values (delay time and autaptic conductance) prominently increases the firing regularity and the firing rate of a Hodgkin-Huxley neuron. © 2016 IEEE.

In this paper, 11 different power quality disturbances were automatically detected by using statistical features with wavelet transform and norm entropy techniques. The best of the created features were selected with forward selection algorithm. Performance of classification algorithms, Support Vector Machines (SVM), Multi Layer Perceptron (MLP), k Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and random subspace KNN (Sub-KNN) which is an ensemble method, were examined. Consequently, the best classification accuracy of 99.3% was achieved by using Sub-KNN and it was appeared that compared to other methods, this algorithm was more robust against the noise. . . .© 2016 IEEE Daha fazlası Daha az

While the world's population is growing, average life expectancy is increasing. As a result, the growing elderly population is profoundly affecting the delivery of healthcare for everyone and in particular for those with chronic diseases. The remote monitoring of chronic patients may be achieved by a telemedicine system utilizing today's information and mobile communication technologies. In this study, an ECG arrhythmia detection algorithm based on Wigner-Ville distribution is developed. The performance of the method is tested on data obtained from the PhysioNet database. © 2016 IEEE.

Different filter methods to reduce noises occurred during image capture have been developed. One of the most effective image filters is diffusion filter. However, the major drawback of conventional diffusion filter is user-dependent. While noises are reduced with conductance coefficient arbitrarily selected, edge pixels are perceived such as noise. In this study, a novel anisotropic diffusion filter using similarity values obtained with the distance of each pixel to its neighbors has been proposed. Initially, similarity values of all image pixels are computed, and then they are used as conductance coefficients in diffusion filter. T . . .he mentioned value above is user dependent for conventional diffusion and it is constant for all pixels. On the other hand, it is made adaptive and eliminated user intervention with suggested approach. Developed method has been tested with different noise variances of images and experimental results have been compared with conventional diffusion filter. © 2016 IEEE Daha fazlası Daha az

Examination of geographical position accuracy of Göktürk-2 satellite images by using RFM (Rational Function Model) is the main objective of this work. In order to work in condition of no altitude data, polynomial model has been preferred. Translation model between image coordinates and geographical coordinates has been developed and position accuracy of the model has compared with Göktürk-2 Level 2 image processing level product. According to test of the models with collected GCP's (Ground Control Point), we had calculated 4.83 pixel RMS (Root Mean Square) error in line, 8.51 pixel RMS error in column; model generated by satellite p . . .arameters has given us 8.93 pixel RMS (Root Mean Square) error in line, 13.88 pixel RMS error in column. © 2016 IEEE Daha fazlası Daha az
